The strand is measured from end to end. Extra links are included so bracelet can be resized

A.) – Measure the total length of the current bracelet you have.
B.) – Measure the length of the ID plate you will use.
C.) – Take your bracelet measurement (A) Minus the ID plate length (B) and this will be your “Strand Size” needed (C)
